Kathy Kuryla’s vibrant images come alive in her landscape and still life pastels and oils, combining both abstract and realist interpretation. She has followed her heart to pursue her artistic passion, transitioning in 2005 from a successful 25-year career as a residential and contract interior designer.
Kathy has studied with Gayle Clark Fedigan of Newburgh, NY, Karen O’Neil of the Arts Students League of New York, Wolf Kahn of the National Academy School, Hollis Dunlap of The Lyme Art Association, Margaret Dyer and Barbara Archer Baldwin.
